Q. How do I enroll for E-Statements?
A. It's easy to enroll in just 5 easy steps:
- Log into your Online Banking account.
- Select the Statements link on the left hand panel on the Accounts Overview Page.
- Select the accounts that you want to receive electronic statements and choose Online as the Delivery Method.
- Read the Statement Service Agreement and Disclosure information and select the box to indicate that you agree to the terms of use.
- Click Submit.
Q. Is special software required to view my E-Statement online?
A. Yes, your E-Statement will be in PDF format, so you will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader program to view it. If you do not have Acrobat Reader, you can click here to download the latest version.
Q. Will I continue to receive my printed statement in the mail if I sign up for E-Statements?
A. No, when you sign up for E-Statements you will no longer receive paper statements in the mail.
Q. For which accounts are E-Statements available?
A. E-Statements are currently available for checking, savings, and money market accounts. Certificate of deposit accounts are eligible for E-Statements if combined with a checking, savings or money market account.
Q. Is there a cost associated with receiving E-Statements?
A. No, E-Statements are FREE to Washington Federal Savings Bank customers.
Q. What should I do if I am unable to download my E-Statement?
A. First, verify that you have the latest version of Acrobat Reader as indicated above. Second, confirm that you have configured your browser to allow pop-ups. If you have confirmed that both of these issues are addressed and you are still unable to view your E-Statement, please call us at 724.222.3120 or e-mail depositops@washfed.com.
Q. I can only see the first page of my statement. How do I scroll to the remaining pages?
A. You may navigate through the pages using the arrow keys located on the right hand side of your screen.
Q. What should I do if I do not receive my E-Statement e-mail notification?
A. If you have not received an e-mail notification that your statement is available to view online (usually 3-4 days after your statement cycle date), the e-mail address on file may not be current. Please go to the Customer Service tab in Online Banking and choose "Change E-Mail Address" to check your e-mail address and update it if necessary. If your e-mail address is correct and you are still not receiving your E-Statement notification, call us at 724.222.3120 or e-mail depositops@washfed.com.
Q. How do I change the e-mail address to which my E-Statement notifications are sent?
A. Please go to the Customer Service tab in Online Banking and choose "Change E-Mail Address".
Q. Will my statement date change if I accept E-statements?
A. No, your cycle date will remain the same.
Q. Do I have to select the accounts for which I want to receive E-Statements?
A. Through your Online Banking account, you will be presented with all of your E-Statement eligible accounts and be able to select a delivery method from a drop down list for each account.
Q. Do I have to receive E-Statements for my FreeE-Checking account?
A. Yes, E-Statements are a requirement of the FreeE account. If you change your FreeE-Checking statement from an electronic format to a paper delivery method, your FreeE account will be changed to a Plus Checking account.
